Day 1 Depart USA Overnight flight to London
Day 2 Arrive London After checking in your hotel, the rest of the day is at leasure
Day 3 London sightseeing Many major sights are included on today's morning sightseeing tour. (CB)
Day 4 London - Amsterdam A warm welcome from our Tour Director before a drive to the White Cliffs of Dover. We board our ferry for the Channel crossing to Calais in France. On our arrival we continue bu coach through Belgium to Holland,Amsterdam, one of Europe's friendliest cities. Tonight, we join our Tour Director for a welcome drink. (CB)
Day 5 Amsterdam - Rhineland (Ludwigshafen) The Tower of Tears, Royal Palace, Dam Square, and Mint Tower are all included on our morning orientation tour. Later, passing Arnhem, we arrive in Cologne to see the gothic Cathedral reputed to contain the relics of the three Magic. Then via Nonn to the Rhine Valley where we embark on a Rhine cruise past vineyards and medieval castles. We disembark in St Goat, rejoining our coach for a drive to our hotel in Ludwigshafen located in the Rhine Valley. (BB D)
Day 6 Rhineland (Ludwigshafen) - Lucerne Today we make a stop in Heidelberg to view its Castle, towering above the University city of 'Student Prince' fame. We continue through the Black Forest to Lake Titisee and via the Rhine Falls at Schaffhausen on the Swiss border. Next into Switzerland past geranium covered wooden chalets en route the picturesque lakeside resort of Lucerne for two night. (BB D)
Day 7 Lucerne orientation We see the highlights of the medieval town and visit the Lion Monument on our morning orientation tour. At leisure, perhaps take a trip up a nearby mountain peak for spectacular Alpine views or shop for watches and other Swiss specialities in the traffic-free Old Town. Later, why not joint in the fun of swiss Folklore show? (BB D)
Day 8 Lucerne - Paris Today we head into France, passing Belfort and the remains of the Maginot Line. We continue on through the Burgundy vineyards to visit the medieval town of Beaune. Finally, we arrive in the romantic city of Paris for two nights. (BB)
Day 9 Paris sightseeing This morning our included sightseeing with a local guide highlights the Eiffel Tower. Champs Elysees and Arc de Triomphe. Plus we'll enjoy a guided visit to Notre Dame Cathedral in th oldest part of the city. The rest of your day in free, perhaps cruise the Seine and visit the Louvre Museum. Tonight, for a grand finale, why not experience the glamour of a Parisian cabaret? (BB)
Day 10 Paris - USA This morning after breakfast, it's 'au revoir Paris' as we transfer to the airport for our return flight to America. (BB)
