10 Tips for Travelling
1. Make sure your prescriptions are refilled and you have your insurance
card and credit cards with you.
2. Bring a hat and a bottle of good sun screen.
3. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
4. Purchase a money belt and ID holder that you can put inside your clothing.
You don't need to take a purse because it will be cumbersome for you to carry.
5. Do not pack cameras and expensive jewelry in your luggage. Keep these in
your carry-on's.
6. Remember to pack lightly (laundry service is available) because you will
need some room for things you purchase.
7. Keep receipts of all your purchases so you can pass through customs easier.
8. Do not feel pressured by street peddlers to buy their items or pay the
price they charge. If you choose to buy something from them you can bargain.
9. Stay with your group - don't lag behind.
10. Purchase an electrical converter so you can use your hairdryer or charge
batteries. The appliances in Israel use 240 volts (not the 120 volts used
by appliances in the USA.
