Proof of Citizenship  

On January 23, 2007 the U.S. Department of State will require U.S. citizens (including children) traveling by air to present a valid passport for travel and re-entry into the United States. This means that if you are flying in your next visit to any international destination, you will need to have a valid U.S. passport to re-enter the U.S.A.

 

U.S. citizens traveling abroad must possess valid proof of citizenship.

Acceptable forms of proof of citizenship for U.S. citizens traveling between the U.S. and the Caribbean, Bermuda and Mexico:

Acceptable forms of proof of citizenship for U.S. citizens traveling between the U.S. and Europe: It is the responsibility of all passengers to obtain a passport through their local Passport Office. The Clerk of the Federal Court or designated Post Office may execute your application and forward to Passport Office for processing. It may be necessary to obtain a travel visa for some destinations. The passenger is responsible for obtaining all required documents for proof of citizenship. No refunds will be made for passengers affected by failure to possess proper documents.

Please Note: Married/Divorced women traveling in any name other than what is on their documentation must supply a marriage license/divorce decree.

The name(s) you enter when purchasing your vacation, should match your government issued photo identification (such as driver's license or passport) you will be using to board the plane.
